Welcome to Archie Bears - the home of one of a kind teddy bears.
All of the bears are original bears that have been handmade in Somerset, England.

If you would like to meet the bears, they can be found putting themselves on display at the following events:

Dulverton Market, Somerset - last Saturday of the month April - September.

Spring Hampshire Teddy Bear Festival. Lyndhurst, Hampshire. Sunday 20th May.

Hello, my name is Caroline, I started making fudge as gifts for family and friends and from this my business has grown. From twelve original flavours of fudge I now have thirty different flavours, on sale as well as the new introduction Wedding Favours.
Over the past two years I have become a regular producer selling my home made fudge at the once monthly Dulverton Farmers Market, held the last Saturday of the month April through to September. Not to mention many other markets, fairs and shows in and around Somerset.

Not only do I make the fudge but I also make the meringues that go into the Lemon Meringue Fudge and Eaton Mess Fudge, the Salted Caramel Sauce, the Honeycomb and the Crumble that goes into the Apple and Cinnamon Crumble Fudge.


Here's a familiar face! We’ve all seen Dan Garnett selling his fish at markets all over North Devon. There’s not much Dan doesn’t know about fish, from catching them to cooking them. Local fisherman, until recently a Clovelly lifeboat crew member, and unapologetically fanatical about fish and fishing,

Dan conducts his own one-man crusade for the North Devon fishing industry. He's committed to sourcing and selling the freshest local fish of the finest quality, straight off our local boats.

Turn up at Dan's colourful barrow at one of his weekly markets and you'll go away with more than just a fillet of cod in your shopping basket. Make sure you’re not in a hurry – Dan’s bound to buttonhole you about the wonders of fish and the delicious dishes you can cook up with them. If you’re lucky, he may even divulge one of his  famous recipes.

We are proud to serve just the best quality and having very high standards, give our customers a real German Food Experience in the UK.
We have over 200 different kind of sausages in our portfolio, custom made for us with high quality ingredients by award winning butchers.

We specialise in German Food & Sausages, so if you are looking for something German you do not need to look further.  All our German Sausages are premium products from award winning German Butchers and also gluten free and custom made.  Our meat is home marinated using a secrete recipe from Marion's Mum Heidi.

Our sauces for the meat, Schnitzel and Currywurst are all homemade too.

We support local businesses and will get as many ingredients as possible form local markets, farms and shops and we are proud members of The Taste of the West.

Botany Exmoor provides a floral design service to Dulverton, Bampton and surrounding areas of Exmoor.  

British flowers and environmentally-friendly packaging are used wherever possible to make my floristry as sustainable as possible.  

I specialise in weddings, but also cater for funerals, events and gifts for special occasions.  

I can also supply local shops, restaurants and other businesses.

With the help of over 18,000 members and an army of volunteers, Somerset Wildlife Trust has been preserving Somerset’s natural spaces and safeguarding vulnerable wildlife across the county for over 50 years.

Managing 1700 hectares of land and delivering conservation programmes to ensure the next generations are able to enjoy the wildlife-rich landscapes we do today is an enormous undertaking. We rely heavily on membership to generate the funds we need to do this. We cannot safeguard precious habitats and vulnerable wildlife in Somerset without the support of those who live and work around them.

We work closely with farmers and landowners across the county to help them manage land effectively for wildlife.  Alongside this we use our nature reserves to create optimised habitats to support the long term safety of some of our most vulnerable wildlife in the face of the increasing impact of climate change.

Our reserves are also fantastic places for people to enjoy, explore and connect to nature for health and wellbeing.


Sharing our tasty Mediterranean delights across Devon and Somerset .

A crowd favourite, Lynda’s Loaf is an organic bakery based in Somerset, run by the indefatigable Lynda herself.  

Lynda’s Loaf makes some of the best foccacia in the country, as well as a delicious range of cakes and other bakes, and has been featured on the BBC’s Hairy Bikers cooking show.

The Middle White pig is the only specialist pork pig in the UK. A pig that is bred purely for its texture, taste and fat. You cant have pork without fat, it is the fat that makes our Rare Breed pork so tender and enhances the taste. Thats why so many local chefs choose to use our pork on their menu.

From our pork loins which makes for a great Sunday Roast with the most amazing crackling, to our popular pork belly. Slow roasted and again served with a crackling which tastes sensational. We dont cross breed our pigs we want you to have Middle White Pork the way it should be, sweet and succulent.

We are passionate about the breed and they have now been registered with the Rare Breed Survial Trust as an endangered species. Which means there are fewer than 200 breeding sows, our own breeding programme will go a small way in helping this breed survive.
